Lavender Sunset Social

A beautiful night amongst the lavender with a date, friends, family—anyone who enjoys a great sunset and evening together.

We provide your picnic blanket, atmosphere and unique LFFF touches. You bring your own picnic dinner, drinks and favorite people.

The lavender blooms for a short time. Savor it in the sunset.

Pinky Painting and Planting in the Lavender

Get those little hands in the paint AND the dirt! Learn about lavender and pollinators. This workshop begins in the lavender field where guests will “meet” the lavender up close.

Then retired educator Amy Patel will help guests create your own painting of the lavender using their FIRST paintbrush—their pinkies!

Finally, guests will PLANT a “baby” lavender right here on the farm!

Lavender Wreath Making Workshop

Wednesday, June 17, 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Spend a relaxing summer evening at Lucas Ferry Flower Farm creating your own beautiful fresh lavender wreath while surrounded by our blooming lavender field. Led by talented crafter Michelle Hyams, guests will learn step-by-step how to design and assemble a fragrant lavender wreath. 

This beginner-friendly workshop includes all materials needed to complete your wreath, making it the perfect creative outing for friends, couples, or anyone who loves lavender and handmade décor. 

While you’re here, enjoy the peaceful farm atmosphere and browse the Farm Studio, which will remain open for workshop guests throughout the evening.

$70 per person includes all materials necessary to make this fragrant 16 inch wreath. Of course we'll have a variety of lavender inspired refreshments.

Mother's Day Picnic

Saturday, May 9 from 11am-2pm

Celebrate Mother’s Day surrounded by the beauty of spring at our 1st Annual Mother’s Day Picnic at Lucas Ferry Flower Farm.

Enjoy a thoughtfully prepared boxed picnic lunch, relax to the sounds of live acoustic guitar, and take in the peaceful views as you picnic in your choice of location on the 13 acre farm. Our photographer will capture candid moments and family/group photos before you leave with a floral arrangement and beautiful memories.  

$50 per adult              $20 per child  ($5 toddler option)

Backyard Tea Blending Workshop

Discover the abundance growing right outside your door and learn how to transform common garden herbs, flowers, and wild plants into delicious, nourishing teas. Join Michelle Crawford of Driftwood Dragonfly for an introduction to crafting your own backyard tea blends.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to identify tea-worthy plants, explore the flavors and traditional uses of common herbs and flowers, discover harvesting and drying, and gain confidence in creating balanced, flavorful herbal tea blends. We'll discuss safety considerations, brewing methods, and the art of blending for both taste and enjoyment.

Participants will enjoy sampling a variety of herbal teas and will create a custom tea blend to take home.

Make Your Own Lavender Bath Products

Thursday, June 11 from 2-4 pm OR Friday, June 12 from 2-4 pm

This fun and interactive workshops begins in the lavender field where guests will get a tour and “meet” the various lavender varieties up close.

Guests will make their own Bath Salts and Lavender Sachet from lavender grown right here on our farm. At the end of the workshop, they will go home with the products they made AND a shower steamer and bouquet of flowers from the farm.
